Treatment Philosophy
Olivia uses a person-centered, strengths-based integrative approach in her work with adults and couples. Her work draws on techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, as well as psychodynamic and attachment theories. Olivia is skilled in collaborating with clients to manage anxiety, depression, relationship issues, body image concerns and life transitions.
Her approach places a strong emphasis on creating a trusting, warm and accepting environment where clients are free to explore their feelings and desires in order to create the change they’re looking for. Olivia is devoted to helping you find the necessary tools unique to you that you can use when coping with life’s difficulties and healing from the past.

M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University (2022)

Professional Experience
Olivia began her clinical experience at Mental Health Systems working with individuals in alcohol and substance use recovery who were also dealing with mental health concerns such as anxiety and depression. She facilitated individual and group therapy sessions teaching coping skills and impulse-control techniques. She then continued her experience At Bridges Therapy, providing psychotherapy to individuals of all cultures and backgrounds with varying concerns they were experiencing.
Personal Life
Olivia likes to spend her free time traveling around California with her family. She loves to be out exploring nature, hiking and spending time with her dogs.
